The tides change...

Who: PEOPLE.
When: A few months after the world travelers arrived.
What: Pushing the dominoes over!

::It's time,:: Dahlia noted softly. Gentle as the words were, well, anyone with any magical ability at all was going to hear it in their bones. ::Time.::

For what? Well, once a world started to rot and stagnate it took some drastic measures to recover. She'd been hard at work these months, carefully marshaling and directing the world ley lines that remained into a pattern that...once she pulled the stops out would...help.

It would also do other things.

Start countering the crystal city spell.

Boost the remaining lines.

Potentially boost or break mages that poked the lines.

Rain frogs.

Or petals.

Or meth.

Close the world gates randomly.

Open new ones.

Turn the sky purple.

Teach sea turtles to fly...

...you know. Stuff.

Probably a little awkward for a tiny sea dragon that had talked her mate into bed finally to have power channels get boosted but, well, that was life sometimes?

Up on the waves Richard jerked awake, flailing for William's hand as Gabby screamed down the hall.

Magnus on his own ship froze mid tease to Kiah, shivering before his skin started to shift black and he tumbled over the side to the waves.

Ilya whimpered, thorns growing from the shadows of the room that reached forward to scratch her flesh, feathers following in the blood's wake before she clamped a hand over the wound, healing desperately.

Go grumbled and shifted course, fur on end as the wind scented of adventure and horror on the horizon.

Alinn blinked, jerking awake and flexing...claws? Since when did she have claws? But the kids were screaming...

::It's time.::

Markux sighed and cuddled his mates, watching Dahlia as she stood waist deep in the moon pool that crawled with rune work and power now. ::Must it be?::

::Yes.::

To the North two little girls caught mid-feed hissed and...collapsed, pale, striped fur flashing in the moonlight as half the team around them collapsed as well, a fight grinding to a sudden, agonized halt.

And every single world walker, well...they were fine. This wasn't their world unless they chose it to be after all.

::Time to go,:: the Kraken noted gently to his new mate. ::This is where we sever you from this world Aya.::</cut?
