Elora looked upward, birds wheeling around her, "well, fuck."
Ixi wiped blood off her and sighed, "yeah, that's...accurate. Tower isn't responding."
She sighed and lifted her wing for Ixi to check, "yeah, I know. Mom's stronger than this asshole by far but..." But. Said asshole had pulled a fast one. Dahlia was stable and secure in a reality where she had mates.
And their fathers had...faded away when the damn godling smiled.
"So guess we need to fix it," she snorted, stretching and staring upward at the starbright point of light that was their mother tearing into a consuming shadow. A frozen tableau, it wasn't moving.

"I can get a sample to ride, you two get ready to move. We need to chase whatever lines that idiot threw to divert our dads." Time travel. Of course it was bloody time travel. Prevent mate locks and tah-dah, a strong god could be evicted from the neighborhood due to lack of anchors.
