"That is...a very complicated answer," she admitted. "For many it's easy to be afraid, understanding and learning is hard. More when those they look to as leaders tell them it's right to be afraid they don't bother trying. It makes them easy to control, which makes bad leaders feel powerful, and it gets stranger from there."
