Magnus smiled, tying the large, satin ribbon around Poppy's neck with amusement. Big, purple, and ridiculous, it made Poppy look like a stripper at a bachelorette party. Or after said party really given he was naked except for the collar he wore under that ribbon. "There. It's the small details really..." he chuckled. "I've already transferred ownership, you're a proper gift and you had best be able to sooth him in his declining years." Or else.

Orchid watched from her elegant sprawl on the bed, face politely impassive, but the inner ranting was anything but...::sending you off to a mystery man he won't give us any info on...:: she hissed. She didn't like it, not at all, and he hadn't allowed her to do the property transfer so she couldn't even give her brother a clue. They both knew by this point though that their Master's 'gifts' never benefited anyone but him. ::Make yourself indispensable, please, I can't lose you...:: so he had to make his new master NEED him! Even if they were apart they could still talk when they passed near each other and that gave her a reason to hope.

"The hover will drop you at the door, you'll need the master of the establishment, naturally." Magnus smiled, slapping Poppy on the ass harshly and waving him away.

The hover dropped him, as promised, at a elegantly crafted landing pad on a disk nowhere near Magnus's. It was all smooth polished stone leading up to immense doors with beautiful carvings of naked people in all manner of water play and relaxation...

All the notes! Pearl went back to braiding Markux's hair, and finally Markux sighed, "hmmm. Why should I play by his rules at all?"

"We like that question," Malachite smiled.

“Poppy glanced up nervously but didn’t say anything. He wasn’t so sure he liked the question.

"Do share," Markux invited, spotting that motion.

Poppy bowed gracefully, “I wouldn’t dare speak out of turn. Forgive me for my lapse. I shall endeavor to adjust quickly.”

"I encourage free speech and thinking," Markux countered. "This is a dangerous and complex situation, any input or observation is welcome. "

That was very much a test. “I defer to your judgment as is my place, Master.”

He sighed again, truly pained by that, "could you at least outline the consequences you are aware of in this?" He tried a different avenue?

“I wouldn’t dream of knowing his plans. I was rarely privy to anything substantial.”

"...of course." If anything it sounded tiredly frustrated? "My apology."

At least it wasn't AT Poppy? Not really? "Any legal avenues?" Pearl asked.

"Yes," Markux admitted softly, "I just need to figure out the order to do things in there really. If I file a complaint that a citizen has biolocked my property..." it was illegal, but claimed the kid as such.

"Freedom and citizenship first and it's also illegal, but will take longer."

"...but if he's a citizen the Magnus also pays him damages," Pearl summed up.
